The Do I Look Like I’m Joking Teaser … ?

Morning, everybody … !

And, yes, I know exactly what day it is. It probably explains Jack Nicholson turning up.

Couldn’t resist that, to be frank. The Joker is such an iconic character — and Nicholson’s version set the standard for Heath Ledger and Mark Hamill to follow — that I had to include him, somewhere

After all, it is the first of April …

Let’s get cracking, shall we … ?

Yes, let’s … !

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Trevor, Andrea and Simon all getting 7 out of 7, and putting in some fantastic quotes.

But it’s also the teaser that saw Simon bag the Official First-In-Clap, and managing to break Trevor’s approximately two week long run.

Comments, anybody … ?

You notice I’m refraining, there, hadn’t you … ? (Now why do I feel Andrea has something polished up her sleeve … ?)

At any rate, here’s today’s rather sillier than usual questions, along with the “How To” and License

Q1) BBC show, Panorama famously did a hoax TV report about a bumper crop of what, on April Fools Day?

Q2) More to the point, in which European country was this harvest supposed to have taken place?

Q3) April Fools Day. 1998, saw which company announce it would be making a left handed version of it's most popular burger?

Q4) 1st April, 1977, saw The Guardian publish a supplement about (fictional) resort?

Q5) Which German car company is known for announcing a (prank) "Toot and Calm" Horn?

Q6) On 1st April, 1962, Sweden's only TV station announced that you could turn your black and white TV set in to a colour TV by putting nylon what, over the screen?

Q7) Getting serious ... 1st April, 1976, saw the original foundation of which computer company?

Q8) April 1st, 1990, saw the start of a notorious prison riot in which UK prison.

Q9) Which notorious Windows virus saw its initial release on 1st April 2009?

Q10) 1st April, 2000, saw which coding machine stolen from Bletchley Park?

And here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Q1) 31st March, 1951, saw the first commercial computer delivered to the US Census Bureau: what was that computer called?
A1) The Univac 1.

Q2) 31st March, 1889, saw the formal inauguration of which Parisian icon?
A2) The Eiffel Tower.

Q3) 31st March 1909 saw the start, and 31st March 1912 saw the completion, of the construction of which ship … ?
A3) The RMS Titanic.

Q4) 31st March, 1989, saw the final abolition of which authority?
A4) The Greater London Council, or GLC.

Q5) One year later, 31st March, 1990, saw a rally in central London into the worst violence seen in the city in over a century: which was the rally protesting against?
A5) The Poll tax.

Q6) 31st March, 1993, saw the death of actor, Brandon Lee: Who was his famous father?
A6) Martial artist, Bruce Lee.

Q7) Finally, and more to the point … what film was Brandon Lee making, when he died?
A7) The Crow.

Enjoy those, everyone. And don’t forget to do SOMETHING silly to someone you know … !
