The Daily Teaser …

Morning … !

It’s a bit of a late start, for today’s Teaser, I know, but, as I think I mentioned, last night’s movie was over at Kevin D and Sarah’s.

Which is quite some walking distance … !

More on that, later …

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Trevor and Derek going head to head, with both scoring 7 out of 7, and putting up some great quotes and videos.

And both managing to correct me on the Tate Modern: lord knows why, but I’d picked up the impression it was housed in what was Battersea Power Station, rather than — as it actually is — the old Bankside Power Station.

Let’s see if everyone can catch me out with today’s questions, shall we? Here they are, along with the ‘How To’ and License

Q2) MANY years later, 9th May, 1955 — during the Cold War — saw West Germany join … what … ?

Q3) 9th May, 1950, saw L. Ron Hubbard publish Dianetics: The Modern Science Of Mental Health, and found the Church of Scientology, as a result. What did the L stand for … ?

Q4) 9th May, 1874, saw the birth of which noted archeologist?

Q5) 9th May, 1930, saw the birth of British actress, Joan Sims: in which film did she play Emily Bung?
