The Brentwood Gazette’s Weekly Teaser — 20-11-2013: Dr WHO … ?

ARRRRRGHGHGHGHGHGH … !

And unemployed people are supposed to have it easy … ?

Oy … !

Trust me, there’s time’s when the answer’s “No” … !

You see, a neighbour and I have been on the phone to our mutual landlords, about the damaged aerial junction box — amplifier, aerial box, splitter/amplifier, what-have-you — that feeds TV signals into our block of flats.

It’s … non-functioning, as a result of a clumsy inspection.

I’m not happy: neither are my neighbours.

Although, to play fair, we’ve been told the purchase of a replacement box and cables have been authorized.

And are awaiting the final installation: within a ‘couple of days’, although quite what that translates to, I REALLY couldn’t tell you: I just hope it’s before Saturday!
