The Brentwood Gazette’s Weekly Teaser — 5-8-2015

That …

Is unusual … !!

Have I told you I tend to like a TV box set … ?  I didn’t?

I like a TV box set, now and again.

Just recently?

I’ve been happily spending some time with both Penny Dreadful, and with retro classic, Blake’s 7.

The latter of which — at least the penultimate episode of the last season — I’m watching, as I write.

Fascinating little thing called Warlord, I should add.

Although one actress — Bobbie Brown, playing Zeeona — is one I’m blowed I can find a Wikipedia entry for.

Although she does get a mention on IMDb.

Which is odd.

You’d think a hairdo like that would get a mention … !

Bobbie Brown, as Zeeona

Answers.
A1) Poole Harbour.
A2) Dorset.
A3) Sir Robert Baden-Powell.   (The Powell part of the name rhymes with Noel: rather than with the phrase ‘HOW well’.)
A4) 1st August.
A5) Scouting for Boys.   (It’s not actually ON Project Gutenberg: although the site DOES have Sir Robert’s My Adventures as a Spy.   Sounds fun … )
A6) 1908.
A7) South Africa.
A8) The Brownies.   (Billy Connelly in a Brownie outfit?   Not a pretty sight.)
A9) Zombies.   (It’s due to be released towards the end of the year: and also goes under the title, Scout’s Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse.   It’s possibly going to be the only thing sillier than Billy Connelly’s outfit in In The Brownies.)
A10) Snoopy.
Enjoy those: I’ll catch you later …
