Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 14-7-2017: Bastille Day

*Yawn*

I am tired … !

Which isn’t surprising, really: I had something opt a late night, watching more American Horror Show.

Series two, Asylum?

Very worth the effort!

AND the yawning!

~≈‡≈~

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Trevor*, Olga† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with all three scoring six out of six.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s themed set, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video …

Q2) Who held a record breaking open air the Place de la Concorde, on Bastille Day, 1979: Daft Punk, Jean Michel Jarre or Jacques Brel?
Q3) Technically, France has land borders — through overseas region, French Guiana — with Surinam … and where?
Q4) The current version of France’s system of government was organised in 1958.   It’s the Fifth French … what?

A5) Temple.
Q6) Finally … 13th July, 1940, saw the birth of actor, Patrick Stewart.   He’s played Vladimir in Beckett’s Waiting for Godot.   Who played Estragon in this version?
I’ll leave you with a song …

And a quote …
“France has lost a battle, but France has not lost the war”
Charles De Gaulle.
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Have a good day!

*        Now, now, Trevor, it wasn’t THAT long!   (Four foot, if you must know.   Fun getting the blessed thing IN, though!)

†        I’ve a friend working at Sainsbury’s at the mo, Olga: she occasionally directs traffic in the car park with a little fluorescent tube thing.   You can imaging the Star Wars comments I’ve been making!

‡        Hmmm … sounds like you’ve got your work cut out for you, there, Debbi.   Have they assigned a title, or left you to pick your own?

Q5) The franc
That must be fun (at least in good weather). I think my printer has definitely died. Trying to find a reliable one whose ink cartridges are not too expensive is going to be interesting. Oh well, have a good day.

At this point, I'm working toward getting assignments. Presumably, they'd pick the title.

1. the French Revolution
2. Jean Michel Jarre
3. Brazil
4. Republic
5. the franc

I'm also working on my own scripts. Plus a novel. Lord! :)
