Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 10-8-2017: Candid Camera

Blimey …

It’s a Day Off … !

Frankly, that’s something I’m thankful for.

Something I’m not thankful for … ?

Is the amount of hours, next week.

That upside for the amount of days off, next week?

Is I get plenty of time to catch up on things.

Frankly, I’d like to see more of The Man in the High Castle and American Horror Story.

The down side for that?

Is, frankly, less cash.

Hmmm …

I know I’ve had at least one regular commentor suggest writing a trivia quiz book.

I’m thinking I might just have time.

And a thought …
“I’m fascinated by mankind. I grew up watching ‘Candid Camera’ and thought it was funnier than any standup, any joke, anything that could possibly be written because you’re dealing with humanity. And people can relate to that. It touches everybody who sees it. It hits a nerve.”
Howie Mandel.
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Have a good day.   And smile.

The fact there’s so many phone capable of shooting video means you’ll be on candid camera …

*        It gets worse, Debbi: I was doing the audio on more ‘no sleep,’ last night.   Lord knows what that’ll do!   As for the bomb … ?   I’m fairly sure I’ve mentioned this, before … but … Many years ago, an old boss told me he was VERY aware the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki won the Allies the war.   He was grateful for that.   But he also felt they were a war crime on a par with the Holocaust.   Arnold Jackson … ?   Was from an old Anglo-Jewish family, had been 14 when the war ended, grew up in London: and like much of Britain’s Jewish community, would’ve been very aware of what was going in Germany.   Someone Jewish telling me those bombs were on a par with what Nazi Germany did?   Stuck in my mind, got me thinking that nuclear weaponry is not a good thing.   It got me thinking the bombs won us the war … but … …

I can’t help but think President Trump is in trouble, as a result of the Russia situation: and trying to come up with a distraction from that.   And, unfortunately?   Has started nuclear sabre rattling as a distraction.
