The Daily Teaser …

Blimey!

I’ve got to confess, I’ve got the TV channel Yesterday playing in the background, and they’re showing a biography of Winston Churchill.

Well …

Winston Churchill, and his bodyguard, Walter Thompson.

And one interestingly pointless bit of information they’ve mentioned about Winston’s wilderness years in the late nineteen-twenties, was that he was in the public gallery of the New York Stock Exchange on 29th October, 1929.

Black Tuesday, in other words: the day generally accepted as the day that the Wall Street Crash really started to bite!

Talk about watching history happen … !

Let’s move on, shall we … ?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Trevor quietly bagging 4 out of 5*: mostly off the back of getting question 3 slightly askew. (They’re related, Trevor, but the Kennel Club goes ballistic when people mix ’em up … )
